State Common Entrance Test has been done mandatory for admission to the Undergraduate Courses (Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Business Management) in Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani and Dr.Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli in Maharashtra State from academic year 2018-19. However, JEE / NEET examinations will also be considered instead of MHT-CET. Information regarding faculty-wise CET details are available on www.mcaer.org Admission to all undergraduate degree programmes under State Agriculture Universities shall be on the basis of percentage/percentile obtained in CET conducted by competent authority [MH-CET / JEE / NEET] and the other weightages will be as per the existing provisions / rules of MCAER, Pune. The Candidates having a minimum age 16 years up to the last date of submission of admission form and the securing minimum 50% marks for Open category and 40% marks for reserved candidates (SC/ ST/ VJ(a)/NT(b)/NT(c)/NT(d)/OBC/SBC/ Socially and Educationally Backward Classes / Economically Backward Class) and physically handicapped candidates in 12 th std(Science)/ equivalent examination.
